• What is a project?

Projects are linked to one or more GitHub repositories. For example, if you have a product that is composed of many small services, each with its own repository, you may wish to link all of these repositories to one Codetree project.

• Why do we need read/write permissions?

The GitHub API requires read/write access in order to access your issues and register webhooks. However, Codetree does not read the contents of your private repositories.

• Is my data secure?

Absolutely. All communication with our servers occurs over SSL and we encrypt all highly sensitive data (such as passwords and API tokens) in our database.

• Do you support GitHub Enterprise?
